Message	My son sold "his" car (actually registered to me) to a friend of a friend. The guy apparently never transferred the title with the DVM and drove it until it died and then abandoned it. The next think I know I get a letter from the police saying I owe for towing and storage. They tracked me down by the VIN. I did not have have the buyers name or anything. I ended up in court and got the case dismissed but still a major PITA. I've sold several used cars and never even heard of a problem like this. Next time I'll get all the information and ask the buyer to sign a confirmation that they bought the car. How can you have any pudding when you don't eat your meat? Pink Floyd-1979
